Product Overview
The Growatt SPF 3500-5000 ES / ES Lite series is designed for 48V off-grid solar power systems and is available in 3.5kW and 5kW rated output options.
The inverter integrates an MPPT solar charge controller and provides 230VAC pure sine wave output. It supports lithium and lead-acid batteries and can also operate without a battery, allowing the system configuration to be adapted to different combinations of PV input, utility supply, battery storage, and connected loads.
Depending on the selected model, maximum PV array power ranges from 4.5kW to 6kW, while maximum PV open-circuit voltage is rated at either 450VDC or 500VDC. These model differences should be checked carefully when matching the inverter with the planned solar array.

The three models share the same 48V battery platform and 230VAC pure sine wave output, but their PV input limits, charging capacity, and parallel configuration are not identical. Model selection should therefore be based on the complete system specification rather than output wattage alone.
