Modular Outdoor Display for Events and Projects
This P3.91 LED display combines outdoor image performance with a modular rental cabinet system.
The 3.91mm pixel pitch provides a practical balance between image detail, viewing distance and project cost. Brightness above 4500cd/m² supports outdoor visibility, while the 7680Hz refresh rate provides smooth video reproduction for live events, advertising and camera-recorded applications.

500 × 1000mm Fast-Lock Cabinet
Each cabinet uses a die-cast aluminium structure measuring 500 × 1000mm.
Carrying handles and fast-lock connections allow cabinets to be assembled into different screen widths and heights. The modular format also supports repeated installation, removal, transportation and storage.
Each cabinet contains eight 250 × 250mm LED modules, together with the required power supplies, receiving cards and internal connections.
The cabinets can be used with rental trusses, ground-support systems or project-specific support structures. The completed reference installation shown on this page used 0.5m H-frame support sections for lifting and fixing.
Reference 4 × 3m Project
The reference project used 24 cabinets to create a 4m × 3m outdoor screen.
The cabinet layout was eight cabinets wide and three cabinets high, providing an overall display area of 12m² and an approximate screen resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels.
This is an example project rather than a fixed screen size. Other dimensions and aspect ratios can be calculated using the same modular cabinet system.
What Can Be Configured
- Screen Size and Layout
The overall width, height, cabinet quantity and screen aspect ratio can be adjusted according to the installation area and required content format. - Input Voltage
The standard reference configuration uses 200–240VAC, 47–63Hz. For markets using approximately 110V, including the United States and Mexico, a 110V or wide-input power-supply configuration can be coordinated.
- Control System
The reference solution uses a NovaStar synchronous control system with a TB50 controller and NV7508 receiving cards. The final control configuration can be adjusted according to ① total screen resolution ② video input requirements ③ playback method ④ live-event requirements ⑤ local or remote content management.
- Installation Structure
Available project arrangements may include ① rental truss installation ② temporary event structures ③ ground-support frames ④ h-frame support sections ⑤ project-specific steel structures ⑥ customer-supplied installation structures. - Packing and Transportation
Flight cases are recommended for rental displays that will be transported and installed repeatedly. Alternative export packing can be arranged according to the project, shipment method and destination.
- Spare PartsRecommended spares may include LED modules, receiving cards, power supplies, signal cables, power cables and cabinet accessories from the same production batch.
